The first pictures unfortunately are of herons in their nesting tree that is just really too far away and the lighting was not good. But, you can get an idea of what the tree, the nests and the Great Blue Herons look like from afar. Not sure what was going on with the one landing on the other in the nest. These were all taken on a birding excursion at Ft. Mose and some said they saw little baby heron heads popping up, but I didn't. I keep going back to this location to see if I will see the babies.




Was hoping it was a baby's head that I could see, but think this is an adult in the top left nest.
